On Friday, November 4th, the school hosted a Beach Bowl Pep Rally. The main purpose for the pep rally was to boost everyone’s school spirit for the Beach Bowl against Cocoa Beach High. Satellite’s band played their famous song “All Of The Lights” while the cheerleaders danced beside them.

An energetic game of dodgeball occurred between participating Scorpions along with other amusements such as a goldfish cracker toss. Scorps lined up with a partner and threw goldfish in each other’s mouths, competing against their peers. Students who cheered the loudest for Satellite were awarded candy.

The Varsity football team stood proudly holding the surfboard in hopes of leaving it where it belongs. With hard work and practice, Satellite pulled through with a win, keeping the surfboard for the 4th year in a row.

Satellite students supported the team by wearing school colors. The Beach Bowl was also Senior Night, leaving people in the stands teary-eyed. This being our seniors’ last football game, it was a triumph being victorious in the competition.
