The Satellite Track & Field team has been training vigorously for their upcoming meet this Friday at Astronaut High School. To be the best, you must take every practice seriously, and train hard for races. These fellow Scorpions have shown through practice their work ethic will pay off.

  1. Noah Mumme: Pole Vault
  2. Johnny Cacciatore: Mile/ 2 Mile
  3. Marie Groppel: Mile/2 Mile
  4. Sara Towers: 800 Meter
  5. Dylan Fogle: Shot Put/ Discus

Noah Mumme(11) won the state meet for pole vault his sophomore year, and shows promise for the 2017-2018 season. Johnny Cacciatore(12) has run consecutively at State 3 years in a row and is planning for a 4th year. Marie Groppel(10) had a great year last year, missing state by a couple of seconds; this year she is up and ready for the competition and hopeful for a great season. Sara Towers(11) has great sprinting speed, leading her teammates call her the beast because the last 800 she pulls away from the pack and beats everyone. She is training hard for the upcoming meets and can’t wait to race the competition. Dylan Fogle(12) shows a lot of promise for the season, training daily and preparing for the competition he will face in his last year competing.

These student athletes have shown deep dedication to their sport which will demonstrate their hard work in their first track meet Friday, February 10th, 2017 at Astronaut High School. Come out and support your fellow Scorps!
