For the majority of the year, Satellite students are subjected to temperatures above 80° F, minimizing opportunities to wear any article of clothing with long sleeves or thick fabrics, unless the student enjoys suffocating heat every time they step outside. However, the brief winter months coincide with a drop in temperatures that offers a reprieve from the Florida sun, and Satellite students have taken full advantage of these temperatures to break out their favorite winter staples.

To stay both warm and fashionable, senior Sara Malmquist opted for a crocheted grey sweater over black leggings and knee high brown boots.

Senior Livi King turned a simple sweatshirt and jeans combo into an outfit exuding Christmas spirit with festive Christmas socks and a string of holiday lights as a necklace.

Senior Kamryn Palmer rocked a cable knit navy sweater with brown ankle booties and jeans for a casually refined winter look.

Junior Abigail Cowart spread Christmas spirit through a tacky-chic sweater and holiday themed socks under a pair of Birkenstock sandals.

Seniors Morgan Zuhlke and Kaitlyn Rocque don their merriest sweaters and socks to exemplify their holiday spirit.

Whether you decide to express your style through festive sweaters or fashionable boots, the winter season is an excellent time for Scorps to experiment with their favorite warm clothes- that is, until the Florida heat rears its head once more during spring.
